The Legacy of the Disciples

Historically every disciple but John was martyred. There’s a chance that two or three other disciples might have also died naturally. But how they died really doesn’t matter; what matters, of course, is how they lived.

It’s easy to say the disciples were unstoppable Christians, but to really understand how they developed before and after the Ascension, let’s take a closer look at each disciple.
  • Andrew
  • Bartholomew (Also Known as Nathanael)
  • James the Elder
  • James the Lesser or Younger
  • John
  • Judas Iscariot
  • Jude or Thaddeus
  • Matthew or Levi
  • Peter or Simon Peter
  • Philip
  • Simon the Zealot
  • Thomas
  • Matthias (12th Disciple After Judas Betrayed)
